Erik Johansen – Pastor
Erik and his wife, Tracy, reside in Simsbury, CT. They have three grown children, Austin, Joshua, and Caleb. They enjoy doing many things in the outdoors – including barbecuing, camping, fishing and hiking. Erik graduated from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in May 2017, receiving his M.Div. in Christian Ministry, with a concentration in Pastoral Studies. He has a passion for verse-by-verse expository preaching along with training and discipling men.
Marty Crocker – Elder
Marty and his wife, Marie, live in Canton, CT, and have three grown children, Katie, Stan, and Amy. They have been members of Grace Church since moving to Connecticut in 2011. Marty works for General Motors, leads a home group, and coordinates ushers.
Tim Knotts – Elder
Tim lives in Windsor with his wife, Cynthia, and four children. He grew up in a Bible-preaching church in New Hampshire, and has been at Grace Church since its founding in 2005. As the elder who oversees the youth ministries of the church, Tim teaches the youth group as well as doing some teaching in adult Sunday School. Among his other interests, Tim enjoys the study of doctrine and systematic theology and has a passion for the amazing internal consistency of the Scriptures.
John Finney – Worship Director
John earned Bachelor and Master of Arts degrees in piano from the University of Kentucky and a Doctorate of Musical Arts in church music composition from The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary. While there, he studied composition with Philip Landgrave and piano with Maurice Hinson. He loves composing and arranging for the church and leading believers in the enjoyment of God through music. He has served Grace Church since 2008. He and his wife, Jennifer, have four girls and live in Windsor, CT.
